2009 IS ALMOST HERE!! SOB!!
So what’s going down?? 2008? Now I know what they mean by time flies. Not for Dun Bin Had. They grabbed it by the balls and squeezed the shit out of it. A couple tours this year and one coming up in March. They also had a new CD come out and a couple 7”s in the works!! If you see a couple of drunken trolls coming for you, the Dun Bins are there. Ready to drink and rip some faces off !!

So, where the fuck is Whiskey Sunday?? Fuck if I know, I just play guitar. I heard we were working on a new album. I think the songs are recorded and currently being mixed. We are still trying to decide the best course of action. A lot of bumps in the road and we all play in way too many bands and are way too productive with everything else hmmm….

The Church Of Saturday Saints put out an album titled 14 Rotten Tomatoes surely to go down in history as one of best records ever. Its killing the charts and will hit platinum any day. Go out and get it before it’s a collectors item and only available for download. That would be a total bummer, cuz I know none of you download anything. Way too high tech!!

A couple other releases managed to get squeezed out this year. Hate Is Just A Feeling – Land Of Glory 7”. These guys are from Sweden, not trallpunk but are a really great band. The play there own brand of old school melodic street punk alla Stiff little Fingers. These guys put a lot of time and hard work into there band. You can tell they chose the songs carefully to maximize each release. They always have clever art concepts and lyrics too!! Viva la Sweden!! Watch out!!! Also the Novi cvetya - s/t 7"! Novi Cvetya (New Flowers) are one of Bulgaria longest running punk bands. This is a co-release with Darbouka Records!!
Angry 4 Life?? Hittin’ some of the same bumps as whiskey but still dredging along!! Should see some new recordings and shows in 2009!!
The Flames have played more shows in 2008 then any other year. 4 or 5 I think. Also have some new tunes in the works and probably some new recordings in 2009 as well!!
