Whiskey Sunday 07/15/05
Is working on a replacements cover for a tribute
comp and some songs for a split 7" with Snuggle that will be
released
here on Vinehell. Snuggle is an amazing new punk band from Seattle,
featuring Jerome from Pipsqueak and Apeface on vocals, and some
of the guys from Skarp.
They play crusty Crimpshrine core, if that makes any sense. These
guys will
put the emo kids in their grave.

If you haven't checked the mailorder in awhile, then
your missing out. We've been getting stuff in each week and it
doesn't look like its going to slow down. A lot of the stuff is
in small quantities, so if you see something you want, you
better jump on it.

drummer has shoulder surgery. After that they will be back on the
ball with a bunch of new releases and shows.
Oh, and if you didn't know yet, Vinehell is now on
myspace. There will be some new mp3's of upcoming bands. Check it

"New" San Jose Venue 03/07/05
Hey everybody. There's a new place for shows, that
is, if you come out and support it. Its at The DEEP Restaurant and
Lounge. 87 N San Pedro. Normally its a dj/dance club, but they'll
be having 18 and over rock/metal/punk shows on sundays, and if we
get enough people to come out, they will have more. The first show
was last night March 6th and the
next one will be:
Sunday April 3rd with:
The Rivals,
Red Tape (roadrunner records)
The Nice Tries,
3 Up Front,
and Angry 4 Life will open the show. Doors at 7 and bands start
promptly at 8. The clock strikes 8 and the power chords start to
blaze. So don't lag! There's a nice sound system, bar, patio (we're
you can smoke and drink), and a cool stage
with cat walks for all you rock stars.
I hope you can all come down and check this place out. Its pretty
damn cool. Peace, rob
Coming Soon 02/23/05
O.K. the comp. is just about finished. It goes to
the pressing plant March 7th. So it will be 2 - 3 weeks after that.
I'm accepting pre-orders NOW! We also have the Varnagel collection
CD comimg anyday and we're working with Halo from Uraguay on a full
length for the summer. Angry 4 Life continues to pound out new songs
for a couple new releases yet to

Bastards/Human Certainty 09/20/04
The Happy Bastards and Human Certainty came through
last week and blew San Jose away. The played twice, once at
the Caravan and at Shady Acres. They were both great shows and they
were well received. I picked up some of their split Lp's for distro.
Its an awesome record. Grab it while you can.

For Life 7/05/04
Angry For Life is going through some changes. We now have Joe from
HBA on bass and Chachi from Whiskey Sunday on 2nd guitar. Oh, and
we're changing our name to Kasket Flask. Don't worry, we'll still
be playing a lot of AFL songs, as well as a bunch of new ones. We
have a recording date in October. So watch out! See you at the shows.

O.K. I'm going to try to do this news thing. We'll we just got back
from our Northwest Tour. Oregon ruled! We had some great shows in
Eugene, Portland, and Medford. Medford being the highlight. We played
an all/ages show at musichead,
and a bar show at Johnny B's(thanks Bruce). It was great. The mohawk
kids didn't judge us because we were'nt crusty enough, like some
do, and they pogoed and bought cd's. Then we went to Johnny B's
and played our drunk set, and had a jam in the back room all night.
Portland was rad too. We played with the Bastard Saints and The
Muddy River Nightmare Band. Great show, Great people. Eugene started
slow, but ended up being awesome. We played with the Detonators,
Happy Bastards, and Raw. If your in Eugene, don't miss these bands.
We also hit Seattle which I had high hopes for because of all the
friends we have up there. the first show at the Funhouse sucked.
there was like 10 people and the
sound sucked. At least Sonee and Larry showed up. Our next Seattle
show got canceled, but we managed to squeeze
on a show at the Rendezvous which was pretty amazing, and more of
our friends showed up. We then got to party all night with Jerome
and see Pipsqueak. Now onto Boise, where we basically drove 800
miles to get a drink. The first show got
shut down by the cops. We then tried to move it to a bar, but they
said they didn't have enough watts. Whatever! We
finally ended up at Greenbelt Terror's pad and played a set till
the cops came. To top it off. The cops wrote them a ticket and pulled
us over on our way out. They couldn't bust us because we did nothing
wrong. So we gave him a signed CD. ha
ha!and atleast we got to hang out with Justin and play with his
shooting dildo. oh and we can't forget Arcata. we played with some
rad bands namely Late Drop, and got a half pound of gummy bears
for $100. Hey if I spelled shit wrong, and used things in the wrong
tense, or improperly I really don't care. See you next time. Cheers,
Rob/AFL
