KRUPTED PEASANT FARMERZ
(R.I.P. 89-99)
DISCOGRAPHY LYRICS MP3'S PLAYERS

This is where it all started. Back in 1989 Dave, Jimmy, and Brad were jamming in our(me and Dave) parents house playing some punk tunes inspried by bands like Minor Threat, Angry Samoans, Misfits etc....I was playing metal at the time, but was grabbed by the angst, and passion from the raw punk sound, not to mention the skateboard ramp in our backyard which brought the punk too. I soon got involved and tried singing. I think we played one show in our friends living room as that line up. We still needed a singer and a friend of a friend tried out.
Ed, he was a great guy but was kinda intimidating to us teenage kids. He would drink a pint of vodka every practice and wrote fucked up songs like, Freebase Pipe, and 3 Fingers Up Your Butt. That didn't last to long and we decided to take over the duties of singing. This is when we recorded our first demo tape. Joey Discrepancy came over with a mixing board and a couple mics and recorded it live. He also used a couple tracks for a tape compilation called San Jose is Throwing Up .It was a rad comp. with bands like No Use For A Name, Discrepancy, Killer Crack, P.T.L. and more. This line up lasted for a year or 2 playing Gilman St.,Pony Express Pizza, and other random places. We also recorded in the studio for the first time and got some tracks on Shredder Records, Lookout Records, Very Small Records, and Playgorund Records compilations. It was a great time and we played with many now known bands. Green Day, Rancid, Neurosis, Grimple, Final Conflict, Econochrist, Filth, etc...........

Then in 91 my friend Caz who played in my metal band joined because he wanted to play too and Jimmy quit the band. Dave moved to Bass and Caz on Guitar. Dave was never really happy with the instrument change, but delt with it. We continued playing locally and did a mini tour with P.T.L. in Arizona, Colorado, and California.
We also started our own record label, Farmhouse Records, and were starting to get a pretty big following.

After that we did a Czech tour in 93. It was crazy, we had hotels, and played in auditoriums, schools, crazy undergound bars(literally) and even a mental institution. It was amazing. Unfortunately Dave couldn't go because of school, and is something I've always regreted because it just wasn't the same. After that, Brad left the band, and began our never ending change of drummers. We toured the U.S. a couple times and Canada but never really had a solid line up.This was the beginning of our demise, because we were always re-learning the songs and began to lose inspiration to write new ones. We recorded the Peasant By Birth 12" EP in 94, and scrounged a couple songs for a split with Legitime Defonce in 95, but that was about it.

At this time our record label was going great. We had about 10 releases and were trading with people all over the world which lead to our 98 European tour. It was rad, but got cut short because of the harsh living conditions we endured. Sleeping in squats, hard floors and our rusty VW bus. So our drummer Gary, 18 and never out of California, understandably took off. We got a drummer and his band(Ine Cafe) to continue the tour, but they couldn't hang either. So I ended up driving around for a month till my flight home. It was pretty cool actually, I had the van and just cruised around.

We tried to keep it going but the inspiration was gone, and played our last show sometime in 99. During this time I was playing in other bands so it didn't affect me too much but Dave was itch'n to play. He was jamming with his girlfriend(Micki from Red#9), and they had a couple songs. I offered to play drums so they had a beat to play to, and the fun and inspiration started to come back. Since we didn't have to live up to K.P.F., the music just flowed . Then we decided to get a real drummer and Gary was back on board. Its really cool because Dave finally got back on guitar, where he should have been, and things just happened
Angry For Life was born.

I have to say, none of this would have ever happened if our parents didn't put up with our noise.
